Managing Director of HE-VA, Villy Christiansen, turns 80 today, 8 December 2025

Villy Christiansen was born and raised in Thy.
Early in his career, after graduating as an engineer from Aalborg in 1972, he worked first as Production Manager at Heden Gaffeltruck and later as Product Manager at Bjerringbro Sawmill/System B8 Office Furniture.
In 1977, he founded HE-VA in the old 120 m² chicken house in Bjergby, on the property where the family still lives today. During the first years, workbenches, rollers, and many other products were manufactured there. Today, HE-VA has grown into one of Denmark’s largest agricultural machinery manufacturers, with a product range that includes seedbed harrows, rollers, cultivators, stubble equipment, and much more.
Today, Villy Christiansen turns 80, and he very rarely misses a day of work. In addition to his role as Managing Director, he continues to focus strongly on sales and maintaining close contact with customers. This is clearly reflected in his extensive travels across various export markets and, not least, in his recent participation at Europe’s largest agricultural trade fair – Agritechnica in Hanover.
