Four apprentices complete their training at HE-VA!

HE-VA is delighted to celebrate three newly qualified metal fabricators and one newly qualified industrial technician, while also seeking to attract more apprentices to the workplace.

Four newly qualified apprentices

Kenneth Kær, Oscar Bang, Frederik Kristensen and Sviatlana Bandarenka have all completed their apprenticeships at HE-VA, marking the first time HE-VA has had four apprentices qualify at the same time. It is also the first time the Nykøbing department has had an industrial technician apprentice.

HE-VA is pleased to welcome apprentices, and it is a great pleasure to see them reach the other side of their training and become fully qualified.

“We are proud of our apprentices and delighted when they reach this milestone and complete their training,” says Villy Christiansen, Managing Director of HE-VA.

The four people at the centre of the story are also pleased to have completed their apprenticeships at HE-VA.

Their initial response was short, quick and to the point: “It’s all right!” – which can only be described as a genuine Mors-style seal of approval.

They did, however, elaborate a little and all agree that apprentices at HE-VA get the opportunity to try their hand at many different tasks.

Kenneth Kær also says: “I also think you get a little more freedom here than you do in many other places. Freedom with responsibility.”

More apprentices wanted

All four would also recommend HE-VA as a place to apply for an apprenticeship as either a metal fabricator or an industrial technician. This is particularly relevant for HE-VA as a company, as it has recently become difficult to find new apprentices.

Villy Christiansen says without hesitation: “We would very much like to take on more apprentices.”

HE-VA therefore encourages anyone interested in becoming either a metal fabricator or an industrial technician to apply for an apprenticeship – with opportunities available at both the Ørding and Nykøbing departments.

Per Rasmussen, responsible for apprentices at the Nykøbing department, adds: “We like young people to join us for a work placement of 2–3 months, depending on their educational institution. This gives both sides the opportunity to get to know each other before agreeing on an apprenticeship – and our experience tells us that this is a good way to get started.”

Per also mentions that HE-VA takes part every year in the Education and Careers Fair at Sparekassen Thy Arena Mors, where he hopes to meet lots of young people and talk to them about their opportunities at HE-VA. This year, the fair will be held on Thursday, 12 November 2026.
