Front-Pakker

Efficient soil consolidation regardless of soil type

With a HE-VA Front-Pakker, you can combine soil consolidation with a harrow and seeder, enabling tillage and sowing to be completed in a single pass.

The spacing between the rings on the Front-Pakker ensures that loose soil is left on the surface, allowing a harrow to work the soil easily afterwards. The Front-Pakker can be equipped with three different ring sizes and, regardless of the ring size selected, they all feature a unique shoulder profile that provides exceptional penetration with its 30-degree point.

The shoulder on the ring ensures depth control at the base of the cutting edge, making it possible to prevent the ring from working too deeply in very loose soil types. At the same time, the unique shoulder profile ensures that the aggressive 30-degree points can work effectively even in the heaviest soil conditions, while reducing the risk of deep tractor tracks.

The Front-Pakker is equipped with cleaning chains between the rings to ensure reliable operation in wet and sticky conditions.

 

Front-Pakker Twin

The Front-Pakker can also be fitted with two staggered rows of Ø700/800 mm rings for even more uniform consolidation across varying soil types.

 

Press-Roller

The Front-Pakker range also includes a Press Roller.

A Flexible Soil Packer

The Front-Pakker features a flexible linkage, which in practice means that the machine is pulled rather than pushed. This ensures that it runs freely on the soil surface without affecting tractor steering. Heavy-duty greasable support rollers centre the Front-Pakker when lifted on the headland and during transport, ensuring that the machine does not swing loosely from side to side while travelling.
