The New Generation of Grassland and Grain Seeding Technology
The HE-VA G-Drill is the newly developed seeder for those who refuse to compromise on grassland maintenance and new establishment.
It is specially designed for establishing new grassland areas as well as for precise overseeding in existing swards.
At the same time, it is also suitable for sowing grain crops.
The machine is prepared with a mounting kit for the HE-VA Multi-Seeder, ensuring uniform and reliable seed metering.
The Multi-Seeder is available as optional equipment with either 410-litre or 660-litre capacity.
Rollers
The G-Drill can be supplied with star roller or a Ø406 mm plain roller.
Disc Coulters with a 13° Working Angle
The G-Drill is equipped with robust 400 mm disc coulters mounted at an optimal 13° angle in relation to the direction of travel.
This creates a clean seed furrow up to 20 mm deep, where the seeds are placed precisely.
The serrated outer edge of the coulters ensures stable rotation - even in dense vegetation cover in older grass fields.
The result is effective soil opening and optimal soil contact for every single seed.
Perfect Seeding Depth - Regardless of Terrain
To achieve a uniform seeding depth, the machine is controlled via an adjustable roller. Different roller types are available and can be adapted to soil conditions, ensuring high working quality under all conditions.
Under particularly tough conditions, increased coulter pressure can also be selected.
This is adjusted via the tractor’s lift arms, allowing the coulter pressure to be increased and ensuring precise seed placement - even in compacted soil.
