Combi-Tiller MKI
Optimal Soil Loosening
The HE-VA Combi-Tiller MKI provides efficient soil loosening and is designed for both solo operation and operation in combination with another agricultural implement — for example a stubble cultivator.
Combi-Tiller MKI Handles Multiple Tasks
Subsoiling
When used on its own, the Combi-Tiller MKI leaves the soil loose and unconsolidated.
When combined with a stubble cultivator such as the Disc-Roller Classic, with the discs lifted clear of the soil, the soil is loosened while the surface is cultivated, levelled and reconsolidated.
False Seedbed / Seedbed Preparation in Ploughed Soil
When the Combi-Tiller is combined with a Disc-Roller Classic or Disc-Roller Contour, with the tines lifted clear of the soil, straw and plant residues are mixed into a false seedbed. The packer roller on the Disc-Roller reconsolidates the soil and seeds, creating optimal conditions for rapid emergence.
The combined implement also becomes heavier, which is an advantage when cultivating newly ploughed land and extremely hard soil conditions.
Seedbed Preparation
Combined with a Disc-Roller Classic or Disc-Roller Contour, the tines on the Combi-Tiller loosen and aerate the soil, after which the discs on the Disc-Roller mix and cultivate the soil at seeding depth. The roller then reconsolidates the soil to create an airy seedbed.
Sowing
When combined with a Disc-Roller equipped with Multi-Seeder (fine seed equipment), the Combi-Tiller can subsoil and reconsolidate the soil simultaneously during seeding. When sowing oilseed rape, subsoiling provides clear advantages, and the operator can decide whether or not to cultivate the surface using the discs on the Disc-Roller.
