Disc-Roller XL Contour

the Stubble cultivator providing good soil flow

Disc-Roller XL Contour has grown in more than one place compared to traditional disc cultivators. Among other things, it has been equipped with Ø610 mm discs, whereas many traditional disc rollers are equipped with smaller discs. This provides the following benefits:

  • The discs can go deeper into the soil and are thus able to process the soil better without getting stuck
  • The discs can incorporate larger quantities of crop residue in fields with corn stalks or cover crops

In addition to the size of the discs being increased, the design of the discs has also been changed in order to ensure an optimum soil flow. The discs are larger, stronger, and designed with larger indentations in the scalloped design,providing a good soil grip and minimising the risk of jamming while driving.

HE-VA Disc-Roller has grown bigger

The discs are not all that have changed in relation to HE-VA's current range of disc cultivators. Disc-Roller XL Contour's design has also been changed in order to ensure an optimum soil flow and the passage of a alarge amount of plant and stubble material during operation. The frame construction has been raised and it has been designed with more headroom between the discs allowing soil and material to be turned over and distributed without problems.

Automation increases efficiency in the field

Disc-Roller XL Contour is based on the same HE-VA DSD-System as the existing disc cultivators, which is characterised by the discs automatically gaining a more aggressive angle as they penetrate deeper into the ground. This ensures a great deal of efficiency in the field as the number of stops during operation is minimised particularly if one has varying soil types.
